Os autores passam uma carta testemunhável em 28/1/1902, pelo escrivão Lopes Sobrinho, para que em virtude dela seja feita justiça, no Supremo Tribunal, dos autos de embargo em que são suplicantes. A inicial se referia a um mandado de embargo a fim de arrestar mercadorias a bordo do vapor Ari Formozo, que vieram no vapor Capibaribe, pertencentes aos autores. O juiz, em 31/1/1902, negou seguimento ao agravo interposto. Em 23/8/1902, o STF condenou os agravantes nas custas
